Get Involved
Everything for everyone — but only if we build it together. Plan C is self-organised and unfunded: it is made and remade by the people who join it.
Two ways to be part of Plan C
Everyone joins as a Friend — and everyone who joins is part of Plan C. From there, some of us step up to become Members. Our slogan is everything for everyone, not everyone do everything: the two roles exist so there's a place for you at whatever capacity you have right now.
Friend
Friends are the bulk of our community — the reason Plan C keeps looking outwards. You're part of the organisation from day one, organising at your own pace.
- Part of Plan C from the moment you join
- Come to open events, reading groups and actions
- Connect with a political commune
- Pay subs at a rate you can afford
Member
Members take on coordinating and organising our work. We need enough people willing to step up and hold things together — and to step back again when capacity changes.
- Help coordinate and organise our work
- Decide together at the General Assembly
- Commit through a political commune
- Step back again when capacity changes
We come together collectively, build our structures, and make a caring space to develop our ideas, our strategies, and ourselves as comrades.
The commune is our base unit
Plan C organises together in political and local communes. These are autonomous collectives that co-ordinate through our General Assembly of Members, to which they hold themselves accountable. A commune is made up of at least three members, and may also include Friends. It is how we commit towards each other — meeting, organising, and reproducing our structures together.
